I searched hard and eventually found these G hooks which are exactly the same as the ones Altura used on some of their cycle gear. I managed to break one of the hooks and was delighted to find them. No stitching was required!
The only comment I would make is that the manufacturer’s diagram is slightly confusing. It looks like the dimension given is the total width of the hook but in fact it is the width of the strap that fits. My saddle pack required the 20mm size and the pannier straps were 25mm

Firstly I had been looking for some clips which I couldn’t find anywhere. Make your own gear was the only place I could find them so thanks. Secondly postage was very reasonable and they arrived very quickly. Will definitely use this company again.

I used these to make up guy lines and ridgelines for a tarp and they are excellent. Got the idea from YouTube and Paul Messner. Easy to fit and alter the tension. I used 3mm cord with the 2/3mm version.

First rate service and quality gear, would use again and highly recommend.

Quite an ingenious piece of hardware, useful for all sorts of applications
